hayley williams, lead singer of paramore

im always amazed at how pretty she is even without makeup. i use a lot of pics of her to practice with hair makeup n retouchin, so i decided to put one up. hope u like it! :D

um il try to explain the way i did it, but its different with gimp k?

i made a duplicated the original pic n set the copy onto multiply. then i made another copy of just the hair n coloured it red.

im not sure how it would work on photoshop, but i hope that helps u a bit :D

Thanks, one question, did you just paint the whole are of the hair pure red? I used to be good at photoshop but the last few months have seen much fail

well it was sort of a pinky red (i made it a pale orange/red colour) so that when i set the layer to multiply (the setting to multiply) it went that pretty darker colour :D u havent failed, ur probably just a bit out of practise

just keep practisin!! i find that if i havent done a pic in a while i get out of practice n it takes some time to get used to it again
